Upon arrival at Jodhpur Airport (JDH), Jodhpur Junction Railway Station or Bus Station, you will be greeted by your English-speaking driver. You can also be picked up at your hotel in Jodhpur and start this full-day sightseeing tour of Jodhpur city. Your first stop is the Mehrangarh Fort, an important historical landmark and a popular Jodhpur attraction. You will find numerous beautiful palaces, galleries, ancient temples, and a museum inside the complex. Later visit Jaswant Thada, a 19th-century royal cenotaph. In addition to the monument, it also features spectacular gardens. Finally, visit another popular landmark in Jodhpur - Umaid Bhawan Palace. The elegant palace was built during the 20th century in order to provide employment for 3,000 famine stricken residents of Jodhpur. After Breakfast Head Out to Visit the Bishnoi Villages where you might be able to spot black bucks, chinkara, blue bulls, desert foxes, hares or partridges. During September and March, sometimes you can even witness thousands of migratory demoiselle cranes near the Guda Lake. On the way, you can also see the local life-style of craftsman and shepherds, farmers. Expect to spend about one to two hours riding the camel in the Thar Desert.
